Zibby recently joined Observer Playground magazine as a "Momtributor." Look for her first two articles in the March issue and four articles in the May issue.
Zibby wrote this essay (with no intent of publishing it) when she was fourteen years old. Her mother found a copy of it and suggested she send it to Seventeen magazine. Zibby agreed. Seventeen bought it and ran the essay two years later.
